12.4.3 The Uycheon System
The Uycheon System is home to Uycheon III, homeworld of the Tukkav. It is located within Celestine Ascendancy Territory. Uycheon III is large planet with a cold, wintry climate: summers at the equator are temperate at best, while the poles are downright uninhabitable. Largely flat, the planet is covered in vast landmasses of snowy forests and icy plains, with a few small, cold oceans separating its continents. Due to the tribal nature of the Tukkav, Uycheon III does not have a formal capital city. Thill Shipyards --------------- Manufacturing starship engines is the cornerstone of business for the Thill Conglomerate, whose coastal shipyards are located on Uycheon III, along with a sizable settlement (unsurprisingly called Thill). Tosmar Hunting Preserve ----------------------- Many Tukkav tribes on Uycheon III are nomadic or semi-nomadic, ranging wherever they desire, but one place from which they are restricted is the Tosmar Hunting Preserve. It is home to an important population of the endangered Tosmarian condor, a massive bird of prey, and so hunting in the preserve is closely regulated. As a result, other wildlife of the area is abundant, and those who seek a challenging hunt - or opportunity to boast about it - will find good company.
