I care.

Flipilaria,

Let me get this straight -- because most meat is laboratory grown, I shouldn't care about the percentage, however small, that isn't, even when the meat is being raised in less than humane conditions? I shouldn't care about the animals harmed by hunting, most left to rot without the meat ever even being eaten, murdered for what? As a trophy? It doesn't matter if they're murdered, we'll throw them all into a HETE and they'll be good as new! As if most animals ever get a chance to be cloned, their life is ended then and there with no further thought. As if I shouldn't care about people traipsing through forests and jungles and disturbing the habitats of these native creatures? No, Flipilaria, it is my right to care about these things. You don't have to care, although I think everyone should, but you won't stop ME from caring or spreading my message. You may think I am dumb, and that is your right. We can agree to disagree.

Don't get me wrong - I understand some races are carnivorous and need to consume meat - animals killed for sustenance is just a part of life. Everyone needs to eat, and it is the circle of life. I don't begrudge these races or animals their sustenance, and I would rather see a creature killed and eaten than a creature killed for a mere trophy. But, as an omnivore, I personally don't need to eat meat, even gross fake meat, so I don't, because it is my preference... and I certainly don't need to murder innocent creatures for trophies to prove my strength.

I will continue to advocate for those without a voice. If people tell me to shut up, I will shout louder!

Yours,

Clover
