Dualshot strikes twice.

Hi everyone!

We've made some changes to MWP Dualshot. Dualshot now works like a miniature version of overclock, consisting of two back-to-back railgun attacks, either Railshot, Hobble, or Headshot. DUALSHOT <target> by itself will fire 2 railshots at the target, but you can also now DUALSHOT <target> [ability1] [ability2] to specify what attacks you'd like to use.

The new damage of dualshot will depend on what abilities you are using. We've upped the base damage of railshot, headshot, and hobble to do more damage up front and there is now a greater variety in the damage spread between these three abilities.

I'd also just like to take a moment to explain our reasoning for the global railgun cooldown we added some time ago. We are attempting to reinstate the Railgun as a great option for heavy burst damage, and consequently we upped the damage scaling of railgun abilities along with the global cooldown. By upping the base damage, too, you should get more bang out of your rails even at the start of a fight. Previously, however, we had the issue that railguns were simply too damaging, sufficient with Overclock for two BEASTs to immediately wipe a player. This is the reasoning for the global cooldown. We'll continue to monitor!

Hats off to Bricky for the coding work on it!

Regards,
Neritus
