Murder at Scatterfest!!

Scatterfest, the much advertised, much-hyped music festival in Gravity, kicked off on the 1st of Taro, 951 A.E. with the irreverent, blood-drenched stylings of KONF3KTION. This was followed by a rousing, historical performance by Orrin Omnifarious. At the end of the two acts, Genny Nebula stumbled out from behind the bar and onto the stage for a surprise performance.

The mood was high and energized, and the crowd was more than warmed up for the headlining band - the famous Space Rogues - when they took the stage.

However, halfway through the first song of their set, disaster struck. During a some kind of lighting malfunction, the lead singer, Silhouette, appeared to be killed on stage. Naturally, the festival descended into chaos, with accusations being thrown at everyone from the event organizer to other bands about who was responsible. The Space Rogues pleaded for Scatterhome to take responsibility for the crime that had been committed, and the Marshals Woodro Phis'tor and Poet tried to keep order in an increasingly riotous crowd. Hope, Orrin Moonchild, Agi Ironbound, and many other individuals swiftly began to investigate.

Preliminary investigation revealed that Silhouette's INR had been removed from her head completely. Further investigation discovered that some kind of short-range, highly targeted EMP burst wiped out connection to the commsphere and blacking out any currently running recording devices for approximately five seconds.

Canny observers may have recalled an argument that two of the Space Rogues, Eve Paulson (drummer) and Shedi Tega (backup vocals), had in Gravity a couple of days before the festival.

The Feedback Loop, the flying headquarters and starship of the Space Rogues, has been locked down at the Haven City Spaceport under orders of the Marshals.

Gravity is currently closed.
