Poetry News Post #41

This is a poem I created based on a title, which is an unconventional approach, but that's why i like it.

~A blood red stone~

Amidst the sea
I imagine a place

Where we can be free
With no tyranny to face

So i lie here alone
My mind a peculiar place

No desire to atone
No need to contemplate

A crime once loathed
Now a blessing to behold

I lie here alone
My company only this stone

It is the color of peace
The red blood of our tyrant

A despicable feat
Peace created by violence

Free of our shackles
We sail away in stark silence

My blood red stone sparkles
the color of peace and of violence

~Rothare~
