I had thought that the clarity of my previous post was sufficient to be understood by most. However, the replies and subsequent conversations indicate that this was not the case. I would like to clarify matters and to expand upon my reasons for not accepting the current situation, nor the proposition proffered to me by Ata Aurazi and the guardians of the Celestine Ascendency.

I shall try to make this as clear and simple as possible.

As mentioned in my previous post I am currently scrutinizing my beliefs and the Order has all but dissolved anyway. My personal beliefs are nobody's concern but my own. In my previous post I stated that I do not condone the non-consensual removal of life.

I have been informed that the Ascendency intend to charge me with the full cost of replacing the Crossings cloning facility despite the fact that - not only was I part of a larger group of people - I was not in the vicinity of the Crossings Station when the facility was destroyed.

I was not involved in the murder of the guards.

I was not responsible for the death of the Shen Immortal present in Scrapston at the time of the explosion by the Eckin's cage. During my recent conversation with Dr Aurazi even he stated that he was aware that I did not detonate the bomb.

I was associated with the Order, yes. I take responsibility for my part in the actions taken and do not deny my association with the Order. However, I did not kill anyone or detonate any bombs. As stated in my previous post I made my attempt to free the Eckin to the best of my ethical code. My attempt was unsuccessful but the outcome has been that Sslenick was freed from the 'protection' afforded to him by the Ascendency. (I am unsure as to how keeping a citizen locked in a cage is deemed 'protection', but that is a separate issue.)

Yet because Shoko is dead and my name is known it appears that they have decided that I should be made entirely responsible. I would think that this is an attempt to demonstrate their power to protect their citizens. But citizens of the Celestine Ascendency should be concerned that their government endorses and enacts these sanctions.

Requesting that I alone pay for the entire cloning facility (upwards of 2million marks) is unreasonable. Especially as I have been made aware that another member of the Order - one who committed a significant number of violent and morbid actions - was pardoned after a quick and private conversation, a low fine and with no request for a public apology (ref: public news post #222).

I will not be showing submission to this organisation. I have already declared my account, and I have declared my opposition to their procedure, corruption and 'protection' schemes. It is evident that power, marks and appearances are prioritised above the welfare of their people and integrity of their justice system.

I am prepared to face charges commesurate to my crimes, which as I see it amount to accomplicing the destruction of the cloning facility and failure to obtain a consent form from Sslenick (the Eckin). I am not prepared to admit culpability for the entire order's actions.

Offering me fair treatment does not mean that I now owe subservience or gratitude. The actions taken against me are baffling, unjust and chaotic.
Fair treatment is not a compromise.
Fair treatment is not a favour.

I have also been wondering what punishment the traitor Flipilaria is facing for her involvement with the Order and for plotting and attending the destruction of the HETE facility in Nocturne?

Ata Aurazi assured me that I had 'convinced' him, and that the Ascendency would be reconsidering their proposal (and I would like to be confident in assuming the other members of the Order, though I am fairly certain it is only myself receiving this level of targeting).

I prefer to provide my account without embellishment and to let that inform people to make their own decisions about my character, integrity and substance. I do not feel that insults and opinions are useful in putting this forward.

I do not wish to be cleared of all my crimes.
I do not wish to avoid punishment.
I do not wish to absorb the misdeeds of others.
I do not wish to set foot in your faction.
I wish to highlight these important issues and to be otherwise left alone.
