We have made some changes to our upcoming event, first and foremost a bit of a delay while we finish putting the finishing touches on the event. We will now be holding the event Yarsday in the 1st week of Extinction, 961 A.E..

Secondly, our erstwhile manager has not emerged from Cryo Sleep in some time. As the keeper of the rainbow tesseracts, if he does not emerge we will sadly not be able to offer those prizes to everyone. Not to fear. The Voidwitch herself has a collection of goodies, and we will be passing those out at random to the attendees.

As this is a charity event, we are proud to announce the formation of the charity which will benefit from your donations: Introducing the Poetry, Oratory and Emerging Technologies Prize. The POET prize. Designed to foster the development of both arts and technology across the Starmourn sector the POET prize will be given out once a year to top entries in Poetry and Technology. The Poetry will be recited before the board of awards, thus the Oratory portion. Emerging technology will be demonstrated before the board in a similar, though potentially less artful fashion. Poet of course will chair the board, but look for the names of the rest of the judges to be announced before the first competition begins.

Entry for the Mech-Wash is a 25k mark donation, which may be made to Poetic. For that you get attendance at the event, and a chance to pose with the Voidwitch. Top poses, as judged by Gwoss, will take home the prizes-

3rd place: 20 credits and a Voidwitch t-shirt
2nd place: 30 credits and a Voidwitch t-shirt
1st place: 50 credits, a t-shirt, and your photo made into a promo that will be featured across the sector.
