Greetings all you shining stars and sleepy layabouts - It's time to bring back a sensational contest... The Omnidancer Gala!

For those who may not be familiar with it, the Omnidancer Gala is an opportunity for performers of all kinds to showcase their skills and their passions for the chance to win wonderful rewards. This Gala will be no exception.

There will be two categories this year for entries: Creation and Performance

The Creation Category
- - - - - - - - - - -
A new category this round, this will be for those who wish to prepare something for the event other than a performance. Before the Gala begins and again at intermission, attendees will be encouraged to check the stalls outside the venue to peruse wares and all offerings of those registered and in attendance. Any and all sales items ranging from cakes to art to weapons modifications are welcome. We will then have a public vote for who offered the highest quality items and those placing in the top three will receive a significant contribution towards their continued creative efforts.

The Performance Category

Our main event will, of course, be the performance category. In this go-around performers will be able to use any and all stage performance cues, lighting, effects, and assistance that's available to them. However, no fancy gadgetry is -required-. Performers will be rated by a panel of judges based on the following criteria:

> Creativity of concept
> Fluidity of execution
> Meaningul use of props
> Audience interaction


The Prizes

I will start off the prize pool as follows-

The Creation Category
10,000 marks for the first five to enter, plus 50,000 marks for each of the top three

The Performance Category
1st place: 500,000 marks, 50 credits, and a Gala Crown with a special perk
2nd place: 200,000 marks and 10 credits
3rd place: 100,000 marks


Entries and Otherwise

I am now accepting entries to both the Creation and Performance categories. Anyone and everyone is encouraged to enter, and anyone wishing to take full advantage of this opportunity is welcome to participate in BOTH categories if they would like.

Applications for the two open judging panel positions are also open. Please message me via 'Sim to coordinate an interview. Note that judges may still participate in the contest categories, but they are not eligible to win prizes.

If you are interested in being a Sponsor for the event, please message me. Sponsors are welcome to participate in the contest and are eligible to win prizes. Sponsors will have the optional benefits of being called out in all major advertising and in spotlight advertising during the event. Additional sponsorship perks may be negotiated for those interested.

And finally, the tentative date for the Gala is as follows: Kisday in the 3rd week of Starmourn, 971 A.E. // The event date very tentatively and open to discussion: June 18th, 5 PM EST (two hours before sync)
