We are pleased to announce the next batch of commodity-related changes, this time focusing on faction guards.

- Faction guards now have a periodic commodity cost, taken from the factional accounts; this is applies every in-game year (15 RL days)

- Factions can now upgrade their guards to be more effective - you can upgrade health, attack speed, tracking speed, or regen. Each guard can only receive one upgrade.

If your faction does not have enough commodities to pay for the guard's maintenance, th ere will be a warning posted in the faction logs. If, after a game year has passed, the commodities (both the regular ones and the missing backpay) still aren't available, the guard will quit.

All this information has been added to HELP GUARDS, along with the commodity costs of each guard type.

FACTION GUARD LIST and FACTION GUARD INFO <id> has info about the maintenance costs of each guard.

As always, please report any bugs in the usual way.
