12.8.3 The Atheni System

The Atheni System is situated in the Arcturus Nebula in the RS Quadrant. There lies the planet Rama, homeworld of the Rek. The War of Extinction destroyed much of the Rekkian civilization, and so the arid planet is covered with ruins.

The Rek consolidated their dwindling population in the ancient city of Hox, now its capital; like the rest of the planet, much of Hox is in ruin, yet it is beautiful and majestic.
