Attention one and all! A date has been officially set for the next installation of the Omnidancer's Gala-
Join us at Lamentations on Ansday in the 2nd week of Omega, 981 A.E. for a night of celebrations and joy!

Once again for anyone unfamiliar with it, the Omnidancer Gala is an opportunity for spacers to showcase their skills and their passions for the chance to win wonderful rewards. This Gala will be no exception and will once again allow us the chance to celebrate our fellow spacers in two categories: Creation and Performance!
The Creation Category

Returning once more, this category is for those who wish to prepare something for the event other than a performance. Any and all products ranging from cakes to art to weapons modifications are welcome.
Before the Gala begins and again at intermission, attendees will be encouraged to check the stalls outside the venue to peruse wares and all offerings of those registered and in attendance. We will then have a public vote for who offered the highest quality items and those placing in the top three will receive a significant contribution towards their continued creative efforts.
Our Participants for the Creation Category so far include: Shulamit, Beaux, Oipo, and Friroh!
The Performance Category

Our main event will, of course, be the performance category. All performers will be allowed to use any and all stage performance cues, lighting, effects, and assistance that's available to them on the Lamentations stage.
Performers will be rated by a celebrity panel of judges for this installment of the Gala based on the following criteria:
> Creativity of concept
> Fluidity of execution
> Meaningful use of props
> Audience interaction
Our Participants for the Performance Category so far include: Poet, Steve, Afesotinuilar, Holg, and Picram!
As always, I encourage all of our performers to PRACTICE before the event. Last minute entries may be accepted, but you will be doing yourself and your judges a favor by prepping ahead of time.
The Prizes

10,000 marks for the first five to enter each of the Categories -> There's still an opening for CREATION!
The Creation Category
100,000 marks for each of the top three designers
The Performance Category
1st place: 500,000 marks, 50 credits, and a Gala Crown with a special perk
2nd place: 200,000 marks and 25 credits
3rd place: 100,000 marks
We'll also have a few rounds of door prizes to celebrate with everyone who joins to cheer on our competitors!

If you are interested in serving as a Sponsor for the Gala, there is still time to contribute! Additional sponsorship perks may be negotiated for those interested, including shout outs in event materials or even a special ad segment during the event. Sponsors are welcome to participate in the contest and are eligible to win prizes.

Note: Assistance is available for anyone who wants to join the CREATION category and has an idea, but does not have the means to produce their concept.
