9.6.1 Ship PK/PVP Rules

Space is a treacherous place, and flying through it opens one up to less than savory types who will try to kill you for fun or profit. We have some guidelines as to the rules surrounding PK/PVP in space:

- Any zone that is within a Cosmpiercer's influence is considered a free pk zone. This is the zone with the Cosmpiercer itself and the 8 zones around it. See COSMPIERCER MAP for a visual representation of these areas. You will be shown a message/warning when entering one of these zones.

- Simply being in these areas of space opens you up to being attacked by other player ships for no other reason that your presence in the zone.

- Outside these zones, the only time you can attack another player's ship is if you are defending your faction's space from branded enemies.

- Transitioning out of a zone does not grant any rights to pursue out of the conflict area or enact retribution at a later time. If your target gets away, that's the end of it.
**Please remember that nuance is a thing. This means if someone clearly wants to continue combat it's fine. Just don't go chasing someone who clearly doesn't want to fight. If you have an IC grudge that's fine - but keep it IC. We're all RL people playing a game.**

As with PK/PVP in persona form, please follow the golden rule of "don't be a jerk" - accept you've won or lost, and try to keep your engagements fun for both sides. This ensures you'll continue to have other people to fight against now and in the future.
