12.4.1 The Glisal System

The Glisal System is home to Glisal II, the capital planet of the Celestine Ascendancy.

Hot, polluted, and overpopulated, Glisal II is home to some 50 billion citizens. It is orbited by two moons, with platinum mining operations on both, as well as a ring system which scientists believe may have been another, smaller moon tens of thousands of years ago that has since been smashed completely into dust.

The Crossings
-------------
The central transport hub for the Celestine Ascendancy Territory, the Crossings is in orbit around Glisal II and provides shuttle transfer service to Litharge, its moon, Ostinato, Benu Station, Barrak Station, Uycheon Station, Faleon Station, Omni Station, and the Celestine voidgate.

Litharge
--------
The capital of the Celestine Ascendancy, Litharge is a smog-choked, sprawling megalopolis on the shores of the Glisallian ocean. This location has been used for urban development for thousands of years now, and though the city appears to be built on high bluffs above the sea, these outcroppings are actually the compacted ruins of previous versions of Litharge.

The Arcoplex
------------
A massive shopping complex in Litharge.

The Undercity
-------------
This sprawling region is located beneath the Slab and is where the bulk of Litharge's population lives.

The Dregs
---------
Even below the Undercity, the Dregs are the slums of Litharge.

NOTE: The Dregs is a good area for new players to train! From The Celestine Crossings space station, take a transfer to LITHARGE, then type PATH FIND DREGS to get directions!

The Subnet
----------
Glisal II is so built up that there is a substantial population of "off the grid" types living in tunnels, sewers, and habitations beneath the major urban centers. This is referred to, collectively, as the Subnet (so called because it catches anyone who falls through the cracks).

Scrapston
---------
An overcrowded, partially flooded burrough along the shore, next to Litharge.

Hyndoh Prison
-------------
Located on an island in the middle of a highly acidic inland sea, Hyndoh is more of an enclosed and fortified city than a prison.
