5.8 Commsphere

The commsphere is a decentralized interstellar communications network. Implants allow individuals to connect via mindsim to the commsphere, accessing organizational channels, the DeathAlert broadcast, and datashard storage and retrieval, to name a few.

On channels marked with * you are expected to stay in-character (IC).


History
-------
A number of channels automatically keep a record of the last few things spoken. Newbie and FT have history. Dynasties and clans may or may not. To view it HISTORY <channel>.


To turn off channels
--------------------
To turn almost any channelsoff, put OFF after its name. For example, NEWBIEOFF, FTOFF, etc. To turn off DeathAlert, CONFIG DEATHALERT OFF.


To turn on channels

To turn most channels on, put ON after the name. NEWBIEON, CLTON, etc.

Type CONFIG COLOR to control how channels appear to you.
